Just bought a new S&W Bodyguard 2.0 for EDC. Most belts i have are the thick leather ones and to uncomfortable for the holster i'm using which is a Houdini breakout. Want a belt lighter, more comfortable and able to adjust as needed. Any info you guys can give of belts appreciated. Direct email me: [email protected].

All my belts are very heavy leather, except my Spec OP belt.
I wear that when I am sure that I am going to get wet. It is not really a gun belt at all. But very comfortable

OutAtTheEdge, I have been looking at Groove Belts for a lighter alternative. Just not yet sure.
When they say incredible stretch...etc... Can they carry a small lightweight firearm?

Wilderness tactical frequent flyer belt, stiff and light in various lengths. Use um for dress, work and play in 1.75 and 1.5 widths.

A couple of my old duty belts are two-part. The outer belt is lined with velcro loop, and the inner belt is faced with velcro hook. No buckles. In use, the inner belt goes through the belt loops, with the velcro side out. The outer belt--velcro side in--is applied over the loops and inner belt. No belt keepers necessary. I have one leather set and one nylon.

The point here, tho, is that you can turn the inner belt with velcro side in, and wear it by itself as an off duty/ ccw gun belt. With the velcro in lieu of a buckle, it is infinitely adjustable. I wear the nylon for every day, and the basketweave leather for goin' to town. I have a couple of IWB holsters with velcro tabs (by Ted Blocker, IIRC) instead of loops, which work just great.

Excellent, "heavy-duty ballistic nylon" belts, ratchet-style closing that is fully adjustable and locks very tightly.

Another Nextbelt fan. I thought it was a gimmick, but tried it. I love the way it is adjustable if I have a flat 1911 or a round Smith and Wesson 19 inside the waistband. It has held up well...daily carry for 3-4 years now? A lot anyhow. Great choice. I rarely well my Galco belts anymore, and 20 odd years ago when I started using those I thought I was done with belts. Galco is custom quality with mass produced prices...and Richard Gallagher is a Prince in the industry. A real person and super nice guy. The Galco belts get the nod for dressy occasions, but everyday wear with cargo pants is Nextbelt.
