3" model 36s aren't all that rare, lots of them show up. I have a nice one I picked up a couple years ago with the box, papers, a box of obsolete ammo, a rug, and factory Combats for $500...

Trigger and hammer are case hardened color, standard factory color. Gun doesn’t look refinished.

That obsolete ammo was the "Death Ray" of choice for snubnose revolvers forty years ago. Federal Nyclad was quite popular.
