Greetings! Up front, I have to admit that I have become spoiled with the trigger on my 4" M&P 9mm Shield Plus Performance Center. Sadly, I've noticed a significant difference between the trigger on the PC versus non-PC pistols.
I am now looking to pick up a 2.0 in either 40 S&W or 45 ACP. Specifically, I'm looking at either the 4" 2.0 45 ACP Compact, or the PC version of the 4" Subcompact 40 or 45. The determining factor will most likely be the feel of the trigger.
Looking solely at the specifications, the capacity of the 2.0 Compact (10 rds) would be the winner. However, the trigger of the PC models could change that, despite the fact that I have an unjustified apprehension about the hinged trigger.
I have two questions:
First, is there a marked difference between the feel of the PC hinged trigger and the non-PC hinged trigger?
Second, how much difficulty have you had adapting to a hinged trigger?
As always, thanks in advance for your help!
