Day 4 in the ATL USPS Distribution Center

My model 16 ND was shipped 03/29.2025 and arrived in ATL 4 days ago. It is supposedly "moving through the system". I messaged USPS yesterday through their Feedback to let them know this is unacceptable. I am beginning to believe the gun has been stolen by a USPS employee. So far I have not heard back from the post office. This distribution center has been under scrutiny lately, so much so that out illustrious US Senator Osoff (sp?) paid them a visit and declarer things will be better. I guess my next move will be to find out how much insurance the auction house put on the gun and file a claim. I've never done that before so there will be a learning curve on my part. 12 days and counting for my lost in space revolver. If it has been stolen I hope they catch the perp and lock him up. If it is finally delivered, some one in the management level of this center should be fired.

All I will say is that I absolutely avoid using the USPS in Georgia. Period.
There’s something about Georgia and USPS. I don’t know where Palmetto, Georgia is, but I have found it to be the Bermuda Triangle for USPS packages! I can’t count how many have my packages have hit there quickly then nothing……for days or weeks. Ultimately, I usually get my package, but ………🤯

Everybody has USPS horror stories. I have several.
The problem is that there's no way to fix it. I've filled out the lost mail forms on the USPS web page several times, but when I hit submit, it won't go through.
I've asked the people at the local P.O. for help. All they can do is check the tracking number to see where it is right now.
USPS does to a great job of delivering millions of pieces of mail every day. But when they do screw up, they do so royally. There's no system in place to fix it. You're completely at their mercy.

The Memphis distribution center is nicknamed the Black Hole. Packages go in and never come out.
