Hallo,im from Austria,and Owner of a 5906.But i dort know ,is my gun a 2nd or 3rd Generation.Because the ,Sicht,Triggern,cocker,Decocker looks 2nd,the Slide and Grip looks 3rd.

We have a separate sub forum for the non-M&P semi autos, but we can overlook that since English isn't your first language.

The 5906 and other 4 digit model name S&Ws are considered to be 3rd Gen. Your pistol was available with that adjustable rear sight, but the Novak style rear sight (adjustable only by drifting/pushing it left or right) was probably more common.

The 3 digit model name pistols (439, 459, and 645) are 2nd Gen.

The 2 digit model name pistols (39 and 59) are 1st Gen.

It looks all early 3rd gen to me - flash chromed trigger and hammer, adjustable dog-ear sights and curved trigger guard.
