This has been a habit since 80% of the auctions tend to end on Sunday evenings at 9pm Eastern.
My Area of interest is models 17, 18, 19, 25, 27, 29, 53, 57, 66, 629 pre 1982.
I have probably had constant bids going For the last eight months, expecting to lose all unless there’s something I’m really chasing,
but in the hopes that just may be, there will be a great deal to be had.
Having been bitten by this unrelenting bug about 15 months ago… I ask you guys.. Is this too, normal?
Couple of weeks ago, I had a bid on a 29–2 6.5”. No case box or papers, but it was In what appeared to be very nice condition. Good pictures, Nice finish.
I put in a bid of 1000 bucks.. Figuring I’d be outbid.
I had a gig that Sunday And the auction ended at 7pm.
I got to sound checking and forgot about the auction only to lose to the high bid of $1025.
Someone got a great deal. It was a nice one.
