Got a call about 9 pm Wednesday night from a guy wanting to sell some Smiths. I went to his house the next day and bought 9 Smiths at his asking price of $6,000.

Most of them are in excellent condition. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.

How fun!!! What a nice collection. As a 357 Magnum collector, I would love to see a few more photos of that 8 3/8" Model 27. I think it is the one on the right with the diamond targets on it? ... Actually, I'd love to see some more detail photos of most of those guns.

I think you're referring to the extractor relief in the left stock panel...If so it appears to be lower than I would expect...Did someone do a carving job on some earlier unrelieved stocks?......Ben

Looks like non-relieved targets that someone relieved.
