Model 25-5 question

I’m looking at a 25-5. In 45 LC. Can I shoot 45acp without issues thru this revolver ? And do I need to use moon clips? Thanks

Unless the cylinder has been machined for moon clips, ONLY .45 Colt or .45 Schofield ammo can be fired in a M25-5.

The .45 Schofield is a shorter cased .45 Colt cartridge and is mainly used in cowboy action shooting.

Just shoot 45 Colt through it. Handloads can vary from mild to wild (no wild for me) Have a 25-15 Bob

I see there were factory 25’s in 45acp. I may go that route.
