I know that both TruGlo and Trijicon offer front sights in this configuration, but those are all for semi-auto applications. Does anyone offer a Tritium/FO front sight blade for our revolvers?

My current set-up is just a FO front sight with a plain black rear. That works just great for outdoor matches, but seems to be more of a detriment for indoor ranges where the front sight practically disappears. Either a regular pin-in or a DX type sight. What says the collective mind?

I have ordered 3 sets of tritium sights for my K & L frames from Dave Lauck at D&L Sports. I ordered them all as Tritium/white dot but the last one arrived as a tritium/fiber combo like you are looking for. I don't like FO sights so I returned it for exchange.

Call D&L and ask about these. I don't know where he gets them or the brand, but it looks like a fiber sight but in the dark you see the tritium glow.

Got a HIVIZ Tritium/FO coming tomorrow. Plate match on Wednesday. I was using an 8-shot 929 for plates, but that has a pin-in sight. This will be going on my 586-4 Brazil that uses DX blades. So handicapped by number of rounds (can't miss) but better visibility - hope that's a wash. We'll see.

Thanks to all that contributed.

I had not heard of a 586 that takes the DX front sights. Here's a photo of the HiViz sight on my 29-5.

My 586-4 is one of the Brazil contract guns chambered for .38 Spl. I bought it primarily for use in IDPA SSR. It had a Baughman ramp front sight that was integral with the base. As I said, I prefer FO fronts, so had my gunsmith machine off the front sight and base and then mill a mounting groove and drill and tap a hole for a Wiegand sight base that accepts DX blades. I don't believe that Wiegand offers that anymore, but Bowen does, last I checked.

Imaging site back up, so here are pics...
