I purchased a New In Package CS45 magazine only to find its labeled as 4513TSW magazine P/N 192700000.

The CS45 magazine I got with pistol is slightly different in that it has a vertical notch at the top not present on the 4513TSW magazine.

My personal practice is to only use SW magazines but I know there are equivalents such as the 457 and late 4516 and there is no vertical notch - but are the CS45 and 4513TSW 6rd equivalent.

Wondering about equivalence or should I try and trade the 4513TSW 6 rd mag for a true CS45 mag.

I know the 3913TSW is compatible with the CS9 when it comes to magazines.

Not sure if that helps but not sure on 45 series.

Notch was needed on the CS45, but not needed for the early 4513TSW.
Consensus is, ok to interchange for range use. But when it really matters use the correct one.

CS45 slide, being shorter than 4513TSW, has a higher velocity and therefore required the magazine notch to reduce displacement.

Even the 8 round, full size 45 mags will work (most of the time) on the CS45 frame, but may malfunction with some ammo, some times.

OK - got it - need real CS45 mags - any suggestions?

(PS Bought 3 in January off a seemingly legit seller's site in northwest, but they never came - turned out someone had spoofed a legit site with good feedback, showed inventory and confirmed by chat - but they were completely bogus - confirmed later with real site they did not have CS45 mags.)
