    38+P IWB Recommendation

Another vote for the 442...carry one on my ankle most days. Has held up great for years with minimal worry about rust. I shoot Ranger +p in mine...easy for me to control and I'm no pro

So annoying - “Revolver” Glock sound effects

Always liked the squealing tires on dirt roads....70's movie staple :D

Which weight J frame carry guns do you prefer?

442....every day My Grandad's 36 when I'm feeling nostalgic or want to shoot stuff at any real distance...it's amazingly accurate for a snub!!

    Ruger’s Nifty LCP

I've owned one for years (old style)....carry it occasionally when discretion is key Very reliable and crazy accurate for a tiny gun with tiny sights. I usually carry a j-frame as I just like them better, but don't feel unarmed with 7rnds of .380 XTP that go where I point them.;)

    What Say You Revolver People?

These days my use for .357 is in a larger gun...longer range targets and/or deer....38+p is all I can handle in a light gun and I'm fine with that. Sure it's a fine revolver and somewhere out there is someone to love it....just not me

    How do *You* J-frame Carry?

    442 in a Gould-Goolrich ankle holster...everyday

    16 gauge karma

My dad had a Belgian Browning Sweet 16ga lightweight...the shotgun I started hunting with. Lots of squirrels and doves with that gun. My grandad had the vent rib version of the Sweet 16.. Dad and Grandad have long since moved on to better place but both those guns are still in my safe...

Our guiding light through the pandemic...

    That amazing little 642

Carry my 442 every day....shoot it better than most anything else. Probably because I shoot it MORE than anything else.

    MOST RELIABLE PISTOL EVER

Have a pre-owned Glock 17...previous owner put an untold # of rounds through it without issue. I've put lots of cheap stuff through it...zero failures. If nothing else...the plastic guns do run well

    Am I alone?

Carry the biggest gun you can/will carry...load it with the most powerful round you can control...that combo is gonna be different for everyone... I carry a snub with .38's most days...ain't gonna tell anyone else what to do, I might be wrong

    IWB For a 19?

I can highly recommend Simply Rugged pancake style holsters... Carry a 3" GP100 often in one with great results and good concealment, Have one for a 4 5/8" .41mag Blackhawk also...carries well IWB, although it's not exactly a T-shirt and shorts rig

Do I really NEED a magnum?

By no means an expert but I carry the Ranger 38+p in most of my 38/357 revolvers. It shoots great, works well in my "un-scientific" backyard testing....and I picked up a good stash of it cheap a while back. Haven't found anything that does better in 38+p...and the older I get the less excited I...

    Thoughts on the 442

Carry one on my ankle every day. To me it's the perfect CCW tool. Light, small and reliable. Sure it's not as easy to shoot as my larger revolvers but it's not hard to shoot. When I can I carry a larger gun on my hip...but for concealment you'll find the 442 is a great weapon.

    S&W 686+ or Ruger GP100

Have owned both...both are great guns...can't lose I have noticed the Ruger has a longer reset to the trigger, which can lead to short stroking during rapid fire, at least in my hands... Having said that...my 3" GP100 is my all time favorite handgun and I trust my life on it often. It's one of...

    Your favorite western movie

Josey Wales...Appaloosa (although Rene Zellweger was terrible:mad:...guns were cool and shootouts somewhat realistic)

Headed back to church today for first time in three months,

Went back last week for first time....same rules you have. Different...but good. Everyone is at a different comfort level with this stuff....good to be cautious, if only to make others feel less worried about getting back into the world.

    Camping Gun??

Depends on the camping...tent camping out away from it all I will have a full size revolver of some sort...357 or .41mag Nowadays my camping is "glam-ping" in our 30' travel trailer. A campground full of aluminum sided RVs filled with people is a real concern. I usually have a revolver with...
