    I have a model 52 no – and have been loading for it. It functions perfectly using either double ended or hollow based wadcutters. What specific things need to be done, if you reload? I don't think I've been doing anything out of the ordinary.

    PC 1911 double taps

    Thanks. Spring tension was just under 2 1/2 pounds. I adjusted the spring tension to just over 3 pounds. That worked beautifully. Thanks again.

    It's doing that itself. I bought it used not too long ago. I replaced the disco and sear with Wilson Combat parts. It still occasionally doubles. What other things can cause this?

    I don't understand what you mean by the punishing nature of the M 52 trigger release. I don't find anything punishing at all.

    Thank you very much for that narrative. It was very informing. It’s interesting that Sig Sauer did things exactly the opposite. They went from short extractor to long extractor a number of years ago.
