Shot my new to me JM625 today. Found that the rear sight windage is maxed out to the left.
My groups (excellent by the way) are still about 1-2 inches to the right of my POA.

Anything I can do?

I bought a rear sight assembly from Brownells to fix my J.M.

The barrel did look a little canted to me but I wasn't sure.

So replacing the whole sight assembly fixed the problem?

Call S&W they might fix it for you. All they can say is pay us.

I don't believe my rear sight is broken. The blade is moving, just not enough. I don't understand how simply replacing the sight will change it?

My thought as well.

What is involved in centering the barrel/front sight?
No longer made so no barrels for it from Smith?

UPDATE
I did contact Smith. Guy was very nice. Understood it was a used firearm. Explained that I thought the barrel was slightly canted. Said that centering the barrel had the risk of frame cracking. Not a problem, as they still have stainless N frames, just no 625 barrels. Sent me a pick up tag.

Interesting that it went to Springfield. Maybe some old timers that didn't want to move?

Anyway, it is on the way back. Says Monday. Fingers crossed!
