So this is the third of three, and it's definitely been fired but in great condition. Re-imported into the US without import marks from German distributor Wischo, a Performance Center gun made with a single action only trigger for target competition.

These are 9mm guns in the 5906 third-gen style, but made on a 4006 frame for more weight and strength. Interestingly, 4006 mags will fit but of course .40 cal cartridges won't chamber or fire.

One thing of note is it appears to be missing the magwell expected on these guns. I'm unsure if it was taken off in Germany, in the US, or simply never attached. I'll be doing some digging into this one.

Any information on the proof marks is appreciated!

Thrilled to have added this to my collection!

The re-import marks are pictured inside the magwell. "GPGI HBG PA " these would've been done state side upon re-import . Not by Wischo. The frames require extra machining for the mag well to fit. You can verify if it has the magwell cut by looking at the bottom of the grip and seeing a gap between the frame and the plastic grips. The cut is visible in your first picture.

That's great information, thanks for that! I'm hoping to find a unicorn and pick up one of the magwells to return it to that state but I know they're nearly impossible to find.

Appreciate the tip on the import marks. Happen to know when these came back and their use/sale in Germany (or why they came back)?

Does it have the import marks? Some of these Wishco guns ended up being sold originally in the U.S. and were never exported in the first place. While above is true, I know see the proof marks on yours so it looks like it was exported originally.

Hi,
the mark that looks like a flaming bomb is the Belgian proof house mark. Should be on frame, barrel and slide. Typical for S&W guns that are sold in Germany.

regards from Germany

These guns are trickling back NOW, and I suspect the bulk of them are brought in by The Attic out of Minot, ND.

They are not nearly as sought after in Europe and can be gathered up there for reasonable money and sold here for a tidy profit.
