I find most of my full power 10mm loads result in cases with flattened primers...so not a concern for round to round inconsistency and bulged cases would be a concern. Have you run them over a chrony?

Victory: best OOB experience. Yes, worth it. MKIVs can be great, but only after dumping another $150 plus into it. Brownings can be tweaked with the spring flip. My 2018 Victory is homely, but an excellent shooter.

I would not send it back to the Mothership. I would use an extractor as a5werkes suggested.

+1 on water soak

I do own 9mms, but that is my least favorite cartridge. It's uninteresting, weak, small, and its tapered case causes some reloading irritation. BUT, it is the largest cartridge my entire family can shoot, which is important in a SD situation, and that is the reason I own 9mm handguns.

Mine shoots great. Never did pay attention that closely to the ratchets. They don't look much different than the OP's. They work, so I will leave them be. I abhor sending a gun back to the Mothership; it's a last resort option to me.
