Are you going to purchase at 25% price hike

I not sure what your measuring sticks are. As I said, we produce a lot of basic foods, in fact we are a large exporter of agricultural products. We do not produce enough fresh produce, coffee, bananas, etc. items to meet our demand. I was around in the 1960s and 1970s as a youth and my...

Are you going to purchase at 25% price hike

I would agree that Financial Market dominance is high on the list, certain types of manufacturing that are of strategic importance and pay a reasonably high wage- we don't need to manufacture shoes, clothing, and other cheap goods, food - we produce an abundance of basic food but we are not in a...

Are you going to purchase at 25% price hike

Bald1, I think you are using a general number of 50% on what other countries tariff the US and that is an overstatement to say the least...... I did not say tariffs would completely pay for tax cuts but cutting taxes when we are running such large deficits? Both Biden, Trump, and the Congress...

Are you going to purchase at 25% price hike

As far as buying a new vehicle, I think the revised NAFTA agreement remains in place for now but we shall see... I was a bit taken back by the scope and scale of the tariffs Trump outlined, I guess we will see where this all shakes out and reactions of countries around the world. The USA is...

Dick Marble Special - What do you all think?

I did a few searches before the auction closed regarding Dick Marble. Several "specials" are attributed to him many are one of a kind. Apparently, Dick Marble loved the #3 as many of his specials contain the #3 the serial number. Although the details may not be "all" documented by Factory...

Dick Marble Special - What do you all think?

I was watching this auction closely and though about bidding. Interesting and unique given the configuration and dates in the Letter from Mr. Jinks. Smith & Wesson Model 66 Revolver with Box and Factory Letter | Rock Island Auction Thoughts? Best, Jim

What did I miss on this 34 no dash?

Very nice revolver based on the pictures, however, when you consider taxes, fees, etc. that brings the price to $3,000+/-. Like others have mentioned, I have other potential acquisitions that are much higher on the list at a much better value proposition....at least I hope so :)

What did I miss on this 34 no dash?

Good morning! This one caught (34 no dash) my attention because it matched my birth year. I did a few searches and took a look at the 5th edition standard catalog to determine estimated value and see if I wanted to bid... I came up with $1,200 plus premium for the 2" barrel...seems I missed...

    Border Patrol

Attempted to do some searches on S&W Border Patrol revolvers but have not seen much information. I remember (don't bet on my memory) Pre Model 10, 4" heavy barrel, blue finish, C prefix serial #s. It would be interesting to know production, markings, if any others still exist?

    Update of S&WCA membership status

Hello, I joined the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation. It was just a simple on-line process and received my Membership information in a very timely manner. The same day I mailed application and check to the SWCA and after about a month, they have not cashed my check. Just wondering what...

S&W revolvers which .22s top of your list

Interested in knowing what goes to the top of your list regarding S&W revolvers - time period 1960-1980. This would include all models chambered in .22 long rifle and .22 Magnum. This could be guns you own or desire to own, collectible guns, shooters, etc. Including configuration would be...
